09-08-2025My kids are well past the age where these would be necessary, so these were intended to keep my mischievous puppies from getting into the trash can beneath my sink. They work great. They're easy to operate and work smoothly. They're also incredibly easy to install. These are way better than the safety locks I had when my kids were young. Just a note, the adhesive is spotty on my particular cabinets. I wouldn't trust the adhesive alone(it's very strong, and would probably be sufficient in most situations, so don't let that comment dissuade you). The adhesive was great for keeping the latches in place while I sunk in the provided screws. Great product
