09-08-2025We use this for scooping eggs from the chicken coop cubby-hole-nests; keeps you from grabbing a mouse or snake, or..... The extending handle is nice but it won't stay extended; the slightest pressure and it shortens back up. Needs a way to extend and twist to lock it into place. I'll probably just duct tape or super-glue it in the extended position rather than deal with a return.

09-08-2025Nicely made mesh scooper. My impression is it's manufactured to a higher quality compared to the competition. Specifically, the plastic injection molded square ring at the opening neatly secures the mesh in contrast to the competitors crudely sewn attachments. I found the metal telescoping handle fit tightly into the molded plastic ring and should not turn or rotate under normal use. But, if needed, a small drop of glue could be used for total security.I'm not using this scooper in a fish tank but rather to remove leaves and debris from a garden fountain and it works well for that. I'd buy this again.
