19-07-2025From others’ feedback, this is basically a well-marketed and packaged Chinese product—there are “clones” half the price, also on Amazon. I can confirm this from falling for the online advertising and using the product and the app (which is a secret!)From my own experience, I was convinced to buy this by Instagram ads. I finally saw someone using to play live music, and I was sold. The product worked well, but only in the way they wanted you to play it. The gyros in the sticks, once calibrated, have rigidly defined angles at which certain drums exist. For instance, using reference angles, 0 to 60 degrees is your floor tom, 60 to 120 are your rack toms, and 120 to 180 are your snare and hi hats. This configuration might sound reasonable but is virtually unplayable. There is no way to change this, not even in the dead and buried Aeroband app. Instead of providing customer control, the package includes an ugly poster to hang up on your wall to “train” you on where the drums are located.Great tech demo, good for kids maybe, but not for a musician or anyone who has real experience playing any drums.
