08-08-2025I use this fish hideaway in an Aqueon MiniBow 1 aquarium for five small goldfish. It's small. The simulated cave, consequently, helps to destress them. Mine began to explore it about two hours after they were put in the tank.Goldfish grow, tear up plants, and get messy (AKA They poop a lot). Large tanks are suggested. This setup uses a water filter and an air stone to compensate. Later, a timer for the LED light will lower the risk for algae buildup.Find a design that looks good and works for your aquarium. The hideaway will be worth the investment.
