This is a very decent size for the price. My goldfish love it and it does not cloud up the water like flakes tend to do. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the product specifically says "slow sink" and it actually sinks VERY fast and this was actually one of the specific reasons I purchased this.

I have goldfish living in a pond in my back yard. They range in size from finger length to the size of my hand. They love this stuff! They'll dive right after it as it sinks. I get this because most department stores where I live don't carry sinking fish food. The pet store where I got these fish from when they were little 'feeder' or minnow sized fish was feeding them a sinking pellet, so when I got them home that's all they were used to. They would ignore the floating pellets and flakes. I'm glad that I can find them a food that is similar to what they are used to.

Carp/goldfish doesn’t keep well in the fridge so I was pleased to find this product on Amazon. I usually use broth when making my famous soup for gatherings with friends and family, and it’s just not the same without that fish umami. These goldfish flakes have a fantastic flavor and gives you that fishy component for dishes without needing to keep fresh fish in the fridge.
