09-08-2025This adapter works very well for streaming music into my factory car stereo, which I’d rather not replace since it sounds and looks good. The battery lasts a long time and it pairs effortlessly with my phone. However, there are a few minor annoyances that come with it. The gears inside are a bit noisy. There are several YouTube videos showing possible fixes. Ultimately, I put a light coating of petroleum jelly on all of the gears and it quieted them down to an acceptable level. Also, while the sound quality is good, it seems to be a little heavy on treble, and light on bass. I simply adjust the EQ on the stereo to the sound I want. Not a deal breaker for me at all. Overall, I would recommend this cassette adapter to anyone looking to bring their tape deck into the modern era of streaming. For the price it can’t be beat.
