09-08-2025Although this set is very inviting to play with we have been disappointed in that the Barbie dolls can not easily sit on the furniture. They keep falling off. Since they were designed as a Barbie product one would expect that Barbie could utilize all features of the toy. One slides off the seat which upsets the table and all the food items on it. As cute as the set is, it becomes very frustrating.

09-08-2025I like that it came with all the necessary components to create a busy restaurant scene.I really wish Barbie didn’t make everything so pink and purple. If they could simply make appliances and cabinets neutral colors and then highlight things with pink, it would be easier to keep it with the original colors.I spray painted the chairs red. The additional chairs came from dollar tree. I used stickers and paint to make the scene silver and red. I left the roof pink with silver streaks.But it’s a nice lightweight set.It does come with a Barbie. I didn’t realize that.She has a unique mold and is unarticulated. Her clothes are printed. Her chefs hat is hard plastic. It’s now a trash can for Barbie… I might convert it to a plant box.
