08-08-2025I’ve tried a lot of edge controls over the years, and Bask & Lather Strong Hold Edge Control is definitely one of my favorites! It lays my edges down smoothly and keeps them in place all day without any flaking or buildup. The texture is thick but not greasy, and a little goes a long way. I also love that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling hard, crunchy or dry – it holds firm while still looking natural. Plus, it smells amazing and feels nourishing it works well on my natural hair texture, even in humidity.

08-08-2025This is the first edge control that has actually held my edges down. I have sandy brown hair with gold edges that tend to be unruly and curl right back up. This was not the case with this edge control. I didnt even set it for a full day and still had great results. And I did not have a greasy forehead or heavy flaking days later. Worth the purchase especially my natural hair girlies.

08-08-2025Looks great, easy to apply, cost efficient, good on my edges. The scent is soft and not strong. I washed it out my hair after a couple of days. I never used heat on my hair, so not sure how it will apply on hair being heated. I did heat this up a bit before applying on my hair, to thin it out a bit.
