08-08-2025Works well, but a warning to anyone with pets - I used this in combination with the TIGI Bead Head hair spray, and I don't know if it was this product or the hair spray, but two cats that licked my hair a day that I was using it threw up like 5 times. I have no way of knowing which of the two products it was, but I would NOT use this around pets out of precaution.

08-08-2025I’ve been using the CHI 44 Heat Protectant for a few weeks now and I can already tell it’s a staple in my hair care routine. I have 4A/4B textured natural hair, and I’m super picky about heat protectants because I refuse to risk heat damage or dryness. This one passed the test for surreeeIt’s lightweight, smells amazing not too strong, just clean and fresh, and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or weighed down. I use it before blow-drying or flat ironing, and my hair feels so much smoother and healthier after styling. The spray distributes evenly and adds a soft, almost silky shine without making my hair greasy af !!I’ve noticed way less breakage after heat styling too, which is a BIG deal for me. I also love that it protects up to 450°F especially when I’m using hot tools.Highly recommend for anyone who uses heat, especially if you have thick, curly, or textured hair. This is the first protectant I’ve used that actually feels like it’s doing its job without ruining my hair LOL. Definitely buying again and i’ll be buying the bigger bottle this time

08-08-2025So far, so good! I am using this with my air styler and so far am not noticing any heat damage, thus it must be working! It smells great and is light weight. The spray is the perfect amount, both width and quantity. I love the way my hair feels. Quality seems very good. It doesn’t dull my hair at all. No additional product needed, as it seems to help keep my hair smooth. Small bottle makes it easy to hold, and it’s a perfect travel size. Easy to take with you.
