08-08-2025I use a Rain CD to help in falling asleep - A Day on Cape Cod (Summer Rain).Unfortunately, my existing CD Player gave up the ghost.I then purchased one of those Digital Nature sound generators.But the digital rain sound wasn't very realistic and sounded more like static.While perusing Amazon, I came across Roadom's Desktop CD Player.While I didn't hold out much hope that I would be satisfied with this player, theprice was right and it even included a remote, so I took the leap.I was very pleasantly surprised how much clear/detailed sound this compact unit produced.I currently only use it for the CD option, but all the other Modes work very well also.The unit will auto-stop after the CD has completed, but if desired, you can use the Repeat option for continuous play.During the night I will get up to use the bathroom and when coming back to bed all I need to do is hit the power button on the remote (top left corner), and the unit plays for another hour of soothing rain helping me fall back asleep.My only minor gripe is the unit plays a quick 3-tone xylophone when starting up.I emailed Raodom, to see if I could silence this start-up tone.They got back to me right away and explained it was a default feature built into the original design and as such could not be overridden.But they did offer me a credit for this minor inconvenience.Very good customer service.I'm loving and dreaming with this unit.

08-08-2025I love this CD player! Everything from the attractive, compact design, assortment of color options and price point to the clear, crisp sound is amazing. It was easy-peasy to connect and use. I like that it has the ability to play audio/music from an auxiliary source or a USB-connected device such as an MP3 player, phone or thumb drive. My first listen was a smooth jazz CD and the sound was as mellow and sensuous as if it was coming from a larger, pricier system! I highly recommend this unit. Plus, they offer a free six-month warranty extension above and beyond the standard one-year warranty. This purchase is a win-win all around!

08-08-2025Good value for the price. Has a pretty good speaker, and it's fairly easy to change modes and choose specific listening preferences, such as saved FM stations. Small footprint and easy to operate, I like this little CD/multi player.
