She loves the challenge of figuring out different puzzles, and it keeps her engaged for long stretches of time. It’s the perfect mix of fun and brain exercise, helping her develop problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills without feeling like work.I also love that it’s compact and portable—great for travel, waiting rooms, or quiet play at home. The different difficulty levels mean she won’t outgrow it anytime soon. If you’re looking for a screen-free, educational game that kids actually enjoy, I highly recommend Kanoodle!

08-08-2025We love Kanoodles. This is THE gift I buy for kids between the ages of 5-12. I have even bought for several adults/family gifts. It’s small so you can toss in a purse and whip out while waiting at a restaurant, airport, dr office, anywhere. It’s well made, has over 100 puzzles to keep someone occupied, and is excellent for practicing problem solving, spatial awareness, and other math concepts. It’s a great substitute for screens and fun for the family. There are other versions with different challenges and competitive play (this is a solo player game). Highly recommend- from someone who has bought at least a dozen and enjoys them herself.
