09-08-2025This thing does NOT WORK. The tape will fall off. The straw will not go into the baby's mouth and stick to your nipple at the same time. The flow adjuster is all-or-nothing. Was extremely frustrating to use.

09-08-2025This is easy to use once you have done it a few times. I appreciate that it comes with multiple tubes, even though it is easy to clean and reuse.

09-08-2025I have 19 years of breastfeeding my 10 babies and have used every at-breast system including several varieties of homemade. I'm also an IBCLC.I will start off by saying my baby is 7 months, 20 lb and can handle the faster flow of this nurser. I would say the flow when the roller clamp is wide open would be similar to a size 3 or even 4 Dr. Brown bottle nipple. I'm using it with goat milk formula so it's thicker than warmed breastmilk.Overall I'm really liking this so far. It hasn't leaked at all and there doesn't seem to be an issue with milk coming out appropriately even though the bottle collapses upon itself as milk is being removed. Where the Medela has a valve and membrane for the milk/air exchange, this one doesn't have it. It does have a hole at the top so maybe that is functioning to exchange air somehow (?)The tube attachment to the top is tight and doesn't leak or fall off.The piece to attach it to a bra strap is a nice addition if you use it. I'm used to just tucking a nurser right under the bra strap to hold it in place so I might actually cut this part off.About the roller clamp.... It doesn't appear to be removable and I don't want to force it off because I don't have to replace the tube if I stretch/break it even though the set did come with five tubes.I know the roller clamp is meant to adjust the flow of milk but when I move it just a tiny bit it cuts the flow off completely. Again, as stated above, my baby can handle the flow so it doesn't affect me but it definitely would not be ideal for a younger baby.Every time I'm getting used to nursing another baby the first few months I'm continuously irritated with the nursers I have. There's things I like and dislike about each one. If this roller clamp worked as it's meant to, to adjust the flow, I can see this being an ideal system.If the roller clamp is going to function the way it is right now as basically an on/off switch, I think the system sould have different size options for tubes. It's 1mm inner diameter and I think if it came with .7mm and .85mm I'd be perfect for all ages of babiesI gave this 3 stars because it's fine for me right now, I would give it a 5 star with my older baby. But if I was nursing a newborn it would be way too fast and I would have to give it only 1 or 2 stars simply because of the tube size.
