09-08-2025I have a stand along deep fryer but the basket only does so much. its basically useless for items that fall in. This has worked great for fishing those out or doing light/careful frying of items that are easy to "overdo". Despite the "thin" wire look its very sturdy

09-08-2025This was a gift and they loved it. They use it to cook in their wok, and I got to sample the first meal made with it - delicious! It helps to separate veggies and tofu from the liquid, or put some vegetable up higher away from the heat and let others cook more. Easy for serving without spilling. Made very well, fits in one's hand nicely, is easy to hold without feeling fatigued because it is strong but quite light, and seems as though it will last a long time. Think I may have to get one for myself now :)
