09-08-2025I've had this for a couple months now, so far it is working well. Bloatware was immediately removed. There was a learning curve changing from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but that's a review for Microsoft rather than and HP product. HP has been very helpful in directing me to the drivers for peripherals that I use and did not want to give up (I have a laser printer I've been using since 2007 that I love and still works GREAT!). I was thrill to avoid the dreaded obsolete software messages.Speed is fantastic, generous number of USB connections, storage more than meets my needs, and it even includes a VGA option in addition to the standard HMDI for my monitors. Hopefully long term reliability will also be great.

09-08-2025Outstanding desktop computer with plenty of power and storage. Attractive and has a lot of USB (8) slots and a USB-C slot. Being solid state it boots quickly and has tons of storage (1 TB) with 32 GB ram.

09-08-2025I advise ordering to your specs rather than planning much upgrading. First I was disappointed with how HP has fallen from my past experience with an I7 Envy purchase. Some years ago I was able to basically custom design an I7 desktop when ordering. Power Supply, RAM, SSD size, Graphics, Software packages, etc. No More. The options are severely limited. "No problem" I thought". I will get as close as I can without expensive overkill then upgrade from there. Nope! Ordered additional SSD storage, M2 Nvme. Opened the case to find that both M2 "expansion" slots are occupied. Ok so I'll use a PCie X4 slot M2 adapter. That might have worked but there is only once open slot and it will be occupied by my Graphics upgrade. And the 310 watt Power Supply will have to be replaced but the only option is a proprietary, overly expensive 500 Watt PSU. If you look at any of the specs you will not find the power supply wattage. Had I made these discoveries before I transferred and set up everything on this Envy, I would have put it back in the box, returned it and went with the overkill option. If HP is not going to allow you to spec the PC when ordering, at least allow enough expansion slots for the customer to upgrade after receipt. Adding extra M2 SSD storage is very common these days. An unoccupied M2 slot should be a no brainer - especially at this price level. I gave four stars as the product is fine as ordered. The problem lies in the limited customization options. I had come to expect much better from HP.
