09-08-2025Comfortable to use with super sturdy handle and prongs. Feels as if it will last a very long time compared to others I’ve tried. Cleans up superbly in the dishwasher and stores easily. Easily penetrated every type of onion I had on hand and even holds shallots steady for slicing. It’s perfect to use now that I’ve gotten older and arthritis can interfere with safely holding onions in place with my bare hand. I can still slice just as quickly as ever without worrying about taking out a finger! Definitely recommend this little gadget and you’ll appreciate its ease of use. It’s well worth twice the price.

09-08-2025I've been wanting one of these for a long time.I couldn't make thin slices to save my life. I'd always end up with one side thicker than the other.Not anymore. The other day I used this to slice a tomato, and it worked perfectly. You simply push the tines through the center of the tomato then use each or every other one as a guide for your knife. When you remove the tomato from between the rods it is in measured slices. Can't be any easier.I did the same with an onion when slicing it for chili. It will work on boiled eggs too.This one has metal rods that have a pointy tip.They had plastic ones too, but I think the metal one will last longer and I don't have to worry about my sharpest knives gouging the plastic.I love it. I keep washing it off, then before it makes its way from the dish rack into a drawer, I find another use for it.If you are famous for lopsided slices, grab one of these and all those weird-shaped tomato or onion slices will be a thing of the past.I wish I'd got one a long time ago.

09-08-2025I like it. Really sturdy and easy to use on a variety of different veggies and my husband used it on a pork loin. It's a nice kitchen gadget added to my kitchen. I like the even slices of what I use it for.
