09-08-2025My son wants to be attached to my hip at all times ... as an almost 26 pound toddler, he gets very heavy very quickly. This has been great. I don't think I could use it without holding him for support but that seems to be more of a personal preference over anything. Good sturdy material, little dots / anti-slip fabric on the inside of the seat to keep child from slipping. Easy to adjust even while wearing.

09-08-2025I got this while anticipating my 3yo could get tired of walking in a large airport. I practiced a few times as home, but when I actually needed to apply it in a real world setting, it wasn’t quite as easy as I’d hoped. Getting her in was fine, but the strap that is supposed to sit across my shoulder would refuse to stay there and kept sliding into my neck, which was painful and hard to readjust without asking for help. Getting her down was much more cumbersome and included completely releasing the tension on the clips, so that the next time I needed her put her in the sling, I had to readjust the tension, but could only reach the one at shoulder level, not the one around my back, which again resulting in an unbalanced ride and resulting in that strap going into my neck. It’s a great concept, but my particular experience with it was difficult since I couldn’t travel with my husband to help with the adjustments on a last minute trip with our child to a funeral. But, when I did get her in it, she said she was comfortable and I was able to use both hands, which was important
