It provides excellent protection from the heat, even for pans that are ripping hot. The silicone is not as forgiving as cloth, so when gripping something heavy or large, I usually still opt for gloves (to ensure a more secure grip). But for everything else, I usually turn to these.Usefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: ***** (5 stars)These are definitely useful! Have them scattered between the oven and the toaster oven. They look great, are heavy duty and seem to clean up ok. I just checked ours and there are no obvious stains on it.

09-08-2025I purchased these to stop burning my hands when I pull trays from the oven. They are easily cleanable and very effective when I use them. They are so effective, I haven't even tried to pull a hot tray from the oven with my bare hands in at least 7 months. I have never burned my hands with these on.Great product, great quality, no more heat-induced hand injuries.

09-08-2025These are the best potholders and oven mitts. I love the way they are designed and how easy they are to keep on your hands for a good grip for getting things out of the oven or off the stove. They fit well and are very flexible. They are so easy to clean! You can take a damp cloth to them to wipe them off, or Clorox wipe, they really clean up nicely and stay looking new. The silicone really gives them a good grip to hold onto things, as well as working as a hot pad. The value is amazing for just quality mits.
