08-08-2025This lock is strong and a solid choice, but it is too easy to change the combo. My kid rode to school, had some issues locking up his bike, and a friend accidentally changed the combo. I took me about 30 minutes to figure out this new combo that afternoon. For an adult, 5 stars all the way. For a kid... it depends. The mounting system also did not work for kids bikes due to their size. Worked fine on a 26in adult bike. Recommend this lock, great brand, but be mindful of youth applications.
