09-08-2025It's a versatile bread that also toasts well. The loaf is cut into 1/4" thick slices the long way, so they come out like sheets. It has a good flavor and is more "toothsome" than average rye bread.

09-08-2025This is bread I don't feel guilty about eating! I've given it to family and friends who are also health-conscious or under dietary plan. Best to eat toasted. Has a bit of a sour tangy taste like sourdough. We use it primarily for avocado toast, smoked salmon or base for smorrebrod.
