The 128GB storage is ample for most users, though heavy app hoarders might want more. The redesigned slimmer build and adjustable straps improve comfort, though extended sessions can still feel bulky.Performance shines with the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip—apps load quickly, and motion tracking is seamless. Mixed-reality features are a standout, blending virtual and real environments cleverly. The passthrough camera is surprisingly sharp, enhancing AR experiences.Battery life remains a weak point (~2 hours), and the price feels steep compared to older models. Accessories like the Elite Strap should’ve been included. Still, the Quest 3’s versatility, from gaming to fitness apps, makes it a must-have for VR enthusiasts. It’s not flawless, but it’s a thrilling gateway into next-gen VR/AR. Four stars for innovation with room to refine.

08-08-2025The Oculus Quest 3S hits a great balance between performance and price. You’re getting a solid VR experience with the same powerful processor as the Quest 3, but without paying for features you might not need. The visuals are crisp, tracking is smooth, and everything runs reliably out of the box. It’s lightweight and comfortable enough for longer sessions, which is a big improvement from earlier models.One thing to keep in mind: the included charger isn’t great for long play sessions. If you’re planning to play while charging, I strongly recommend picking up a 65W (or higher) Chromebook-style USB-C charger. With the right power source, you can charge and play at the same time without slowly losing battery — makes a big difference if you’re mid-game or streaming from a PC.For the price, the Quest 3S is hard to beat. Great performance, solid build, and with that charging upgrade, it’s a no-brainer.
