09-08-2025Currently split on my feelings about these bras. I purchased 5 of them because I had my son 3 weeks ago and due to him being jaundiced and me having a low supply, I am in a situation where I am pumping pretty much every 2-3 hours around the clock. These bras are excellent for pumping. They hold the bottles/flanges very securely to my chest so I can use my hands to do other things. I like the clips which allow you to take down either side of the chest panel to nurse and/or just make it easier to insert/remove your flanges or air-out your chest. However, when the chest panel is down, the bra straps do not stay on your shoulders. Minor annoyance.My biggest complaint with these bras is how uncomfortable they are for regular wear when I am not pumping. I may need to come back and update my opinion of these once I have had more time to adjust to pumping/breastfeeding, but presently, I struggle a lot with nipple pain, and the fabric of these bras is so rough and the fit snug (sports bra style) that I simply can't wear them without nursing pads and/or silver cups as a protective layer in-between. I don't think it's just the texture necessarily, but also because the inside of these bras has so many seams/straps right where the nipple is that rub/catch/chafe. It is very nice that each of these bras comes with a set of nursing pads and an extender for the band to help with the comfort a bit, but lately I prefer to wear a different, softer, looser style of maternity bra, so I end up taking these pumping bras off and just putting them on whenever I want to pump, which is inconvenient.
