09-08-2025I recommend this great tool for cutting, removing the pit and scooping out the avocado. It will save the palm of the hand from being cut.

09-08-2025Slicing the avocado and removing the pit - fantastic! Both work wonders, so I am happy about it. But the plastic part that is supposed to remove the avocado half from the peel and slice it does not work at all, unless the avocado is so far from ripe it's not that great to eat. Photo shows to the left the avocado removed and sliced with the tool - you can see it gets mushy and unappealing - on the right, two halves removed with a spoon and sliced with a knife. So, basically the tool would be perfect either if the plastic cutter would have been absent, or if it had metal little blades instead of plastic to slice through the flesh.
