07-08-2025I actually bought this just for the water proof case but ended up using a lot of what was inside especially the hooks and sinker but also some of the stuff I would never use like the blue clip. I wasn't even sure if I used it correctly (I probably did not) but because of that I actually caught 2 needle fish back to back. This is tremendous value and I would highly recommend. I have caught 2 feet long needle fish with the second largest hook in this and they work really well and are really sharp. The seperate compartments are ideal for keeping things from mixing (which is a problem I had with all previous boxes). The only complaint is the ease of the closing clip which is a bit finicky but nothing too complicated. Just in the rush of fishing, it can take a second look to get the latch to close. Other than that, it is perfect.

07-08-2025Ok so I fly fish. I’m not new to fishing but I’m trying to get into bait and spin fishing because it’s a little easier to just go and do. Before anyone rages, I said it easier to just say “ima go fish” and just go do it. Fly fishing takes some more concentrated effort. Anyways… this really is an amazing kit. So many rig options with all the different weights, hooks, etc. Food variety of drop shots, free rig weights, offset hooks, Texas and Carolina rig weights, there are even some beads. This would cost well over $100 to buy individually without a case. This comes with a case and everything separated and organized. No labels as to what is what and how it’s used but you can easily find that stuff online. Only problem I had was opening it up for the first time. The clasps holding the plastic covering the compartments don’t seem to work well. I spent the first 15 minutes separating things before I could look at what I had. I have already utilized the gear and very pleased. Cheers!
