08-08-2025I’ve been using this Tapo camera for a couple months now and I’m honestly impressed. The video quality is sharp and clear both day and night. The pan and tilt function works smoothly through the app, and I can cover my entire living room without any blind spots.Setup was super easy I downloaded the Tapo app, scanned the QR code, and was up and running in less than 10 minutes. I love that it supports microSD storage (I’m using a 128GB card) so I don’t have to pay for cloud unless I want to. The motion detection and notifications are pretty accurate. It even picked up my baby crying in the middle of the night. I use the two way audio to talk to my baby when I’m out the sound is decent on both ends.One small thing: when it’s really dark, the night vision gives off a faint clicking noise when switching modes not a dealbreaker, but something to know.Overall, this is a solid indoor camera for the price. Whether you’re using it for a baby, pets, or home security, it’s a great entry level choice that does way more than you’d expect at this price.

08-08-2025We bought a camera to monitor our vehicles while we were on a short vacation. The camera was easy to set up, we have it mounted outside and we live in Michigan. So far it's held up and if anything weather related damage occurs I'll be sure to add an update to this review on how it occurred. The image is great during day and night, the audio is good as well. It picks up car headlights from quarter mile out and we can hear the cars whooshing. If anyone is up close to the camera their details are crisp and sounds is very clear. We added a SD card and it just records over itself on a loop. You can download clips that you want and the rest just gets written over, length of time depends on the amount of GBs on your SD card. It can run without any backup to the cloud or SD storage added just for live monitoring purposes. We added another for inside the house just because the clarity and sound was great, the motion detector is sensitive, and we get notifications on our phones if movements or a person is detected. You can go into privacy mode when you want to stop viewing. Great quality and great price!

08-08-2025This baby works well and has a great picture quality. I bought this in order to keep an eye on my furbaby. The motion detection works well but scared me a few times when it said person detected. My dog was on the top part of the couch and I literally thought someone had entered my house. But figured out it was just him. It has a good range of recording capabilities The design is small and easily fits on my TV stand. We had a mini earthquake enough to shake it off the stand and it did not crack or scratch the lens. You can tap to talk or call and speak to your dog, cat, partner, child, bird or whatever you use it for. I check in on my dog often and even show ppl what he is doing. A few of my coworkers requested me to send them the item and they purchased it for their pets as well. Most of the time he is sleeping. You can also take a picture. I opt not to subscribe to offer of saving the recordings on a chip or sending it to my cloud. You do have to reset it every 45 days if you do not subscribe but for me that is not a big deal I am saving money. I am using it to make sure my furbaby is ok I do not need a history of recording him sleeping or playing with his toys while I am working. Great purchase, quality and value for your money. It has slightly increased in price since I have purchased it but still reasonable and affordable. The pic on my review is my dog on my couch when the person detection went off.
