07-08-2025I can only give this product 4 stars because the pump doesn't seem to last for more than a few months and I see from reviews others have the same issues. But positives and why I would still recommend. Very quiet, whether you use the fountain feature or not. Durable never had issues of leakage that some have mentioned. Very easy to clean, filters are easy to remove and replace and are a great replacement price. Functions as it should, and as described. Even though i had a pump issue after only a couple of months, i contacted the vendor through Amazon and the pump is covered by the 2-year warranty that comes with this product, they responded same day and shipped new one which i received 2 days later, I could not have asked for better customer service provided.

07-08-2025I bought the stainless steel model. This fountain holds a week's worth of water for all four of my cats, and the water stays clean and cool. The fountain is easy to set up, easy to take apart for cleaning, and easy to put back together. it's very quiet and super easy to clean. I put everything but the plastic pump into the dishwasher once a week and clean the pump separately. I change the filters on schedule, too. Nothing ever gets slimy, not even the plastic pump! I love it!UPDATE: After seven months of use, the pump quit working. I contacted the seller and they replaced it free! Turns out that there is 2-year warranty on the pump. They sent me the replacement withing a week and it's working perfectly. And they were VERY nice about it.

07-08-2025I have 3 cats, 1 of whom loved to play in the gravity water bowl, emptying out the water within a day or two by splashing in it. Someone told me that's indicative that they want running water, so decided to see if this would solve that problemAnd it does! He still paws at the water, but he doesn't dig at it (probably a combo of the fountain running + the height of the container). And it has benefits! Such as the filter, which helps keep their water clean, whereas the gravity bowl would get dirty with litter and other particles within a day. It probably lasts me 4-5 days with 3 cats. It seems like they are drinking water more often. So pluses all around as far as cat usability!It was easy to put together and parts seem pretty sturdy. Would prefer that the wall power adaptor be flatter? My cats have a habit of trying to knock adaptors out of the wall. Would also have been nice if the wire was braided, as my cats also like to play with wires sometimes. But this wire hasn't given them too much to play with. Just a suggested enhancement. The fountain itself is pretty quiet. Even comes with a little mat (although, given how my cat loves water, mat could be bigger xD)All in all, wish I would've bought this sooner. Would've saved me many a puddles on the floor!
