09-08-2025I am just over 1 week postpartum and breastfeeding at least 8 times/day. It was recommended to use these silver cups for nipple protection/comfort while breastfeeding. This is my first baby and I am new to everything breastfeeding. I have not experienced any nipple discomfort (other than the first 5 seconds into the latch) but nothing outside of that. I actually like the way these cups keep my nipple shape in-between feedings rather than being smashed up against my nursing bra. I also use Earth Mama Nipple Butter with these cups and my nipples are feeling good. As of now, I highly recommend these cups for nursing mama's!

09-08-2025These do not seem to be a metal with a very high amount of silver, but the barrier and its ability to trap some breastmilk against the nipple really helped them heal from thrush and cracks.
