09-08-2025I was very pleased with this kitten food. Higher quality and nutrition then other brands. the kittens were able to easily eat it. They had no problems digesting it. Our kittens looked very healthy and had such sleek feeling fur. I think the price was very reasonable.

I ended up becoming the mom of a little cat fur baby when my 3-pound Pom-Chi dragged home a half-dead abandoned runt of a kitten one day that she found at the dog park.It was a beautiful Florida afternoon, and as is common, the afternoon brought thunder and intense rain showers. I was caught in a sudden downpour, and when I looked down, I saw my sweet dog holding what appeared to be a nearly dead, abandoned kitten. She had almost no hair, and her eyes weren’t even open. My dog, with huge pleading eyes, seemed to ask, "Please mom? Can I keep it?" I brought the kitten home; pretty sure it was not going to survive but knowing I had to give it a shot.Fast forward 5 months, and now she’s a 1.4-pound beautiful kitten who thinks she’s a pup, raised by my loving Pomeranian Chihuahua. Despite being a cat, she’s been brought up beautifully to be a proper, sweet little dog...she even barks! It's hilarious! 09-08-2025While this food is marketed for kittens, our late teenage shorthair cat enjoys this food. The formulation lists chicken by-product meal as its first ingredient, and this must be the flavor that she likes. Just as important is the small kibble size which allows her an easier chewing and digesting experience.Our cat has a history of eating IAMS foods since she was a kitten. Yet, over the years she has grown “tired” of the Indoor Weight and Hairball Care that was a staple food alongside some moist food that she was given as a bonus to balance her diet.Her one nemesis is fish protein because it contributes to the development of urinary problems. Since this product does not contain any fish protein, it is safe for her. Still, it does contain fish oil as do other cat foods, but fish oil has never posed a problem for her. Since this food is chicken-based and made without a shred of fish protein, it was an automatic choice for this beloved feline.
