09-08-2025I bought this to help me hold onto onions and other round fruits or veggies I needed to cute. You know when you get to close to the "butt" and then you can barely keep slicing because its hard to hold onto... this works perfectly. It was sooo easy to cut my onion and use the whole thing and be able to get slices from the entire onion versus having to chop up the ends differently..Trick: Don't ask me how, and I don't usually believe "tips and tricks" for onions. BUT.. If you put a wet paper towel near you when cutting an onion, your eyes do not water. I learned this from a Mexican gal friend I have and it really does work. ;)

09-08-2025This little gadget has come in very handy while canning beets for my husband. I can now cut even slices with out cutting my fingers. It is also handy for cutting nice even slices of tomatoes for sandwich.
