07-08-2025These open-toe slippers are fine, for what I require for my feet. I have no swelling, no diabetic condition, and no need for bandaging. Choice of footwear for persons with these conditions requires careful thought, and maybe some trying on of a few types and sizes of slippers. My feet and nails are free of fungus, and I prefer to maintain this condition. I don't wear street shoes on my floors and carpets and I don't walk around in my living space barefoot or even just in socks. I chose these slippers for the open-toe design, because I knew that light and air would be good for keeping my nails free of fungus, mold, etc, etc. With these slippers, I can keep my feet off the floor, without keeping my feet in the dark, damp space preferred by fungus and mold. For what I want, these slippers are fine. They are comfortable.Whether this design would work for a bandaged foot probably could not be decided without trying them on the person's foot. I'm not sure if it would be possible to provide an exact fit, just by choosing a size from the online chart. Everything would depend on the thickness of the bandaging; and the need for protection of circulation. If the straps would ever be tightened, to hold this slipper on, circulation might be slowed down, and that's not going to be good for a person with diabetes. I have the straps fairly loose, and these slippers are fitting just right. But that's me. Every case is different. So my recommendation is: Try these. If these don't work, try some slippers with a different design. Care of feet is absolutely essential for a person's health. These are definitely worth a trial.

07-08-2025THEY WOULD BE COMFORTABLE FOR A NON MOBILE PERSON. I GOT THEM BECAUSE OF MY SWOLLEN FEET. I LIKE THE ADJUSTABLE WIDTH. THEY WILL FIT WIDE FEET. THE SHOES DO RUN LONG IN LENGHT. I MEASURE A 7 1/2 . THE EIGHT FIT PERFECTLY. AS FOR WALKING THEY HURT THE BALL AND HEEL OF MY FEET. MY FEET ARE TENDER WHEN SWOLLEN. THEIR CUSHION DOES'NT SEEM TO BE GOOD QUALITY FOR AN ACTIVE PERSON. GREAT FOR SOMEONE WHO NEEDS TO BE STILL. OR JUST MAKE SMALL TRIPS TO BATHROOM OR KITCHEN.
