08-08-2025I have two older soldering irons, and they worked okay for a while. I needed one that got hotter, quicker. This one does the job. It heats up well, and I can solder without hoping the heat melts the solder while waiting. This one gets it done, and I appreciate that. It comes with extra tips and some accessories, which are okay but not as necessary to me. I already have all the accessories I need. I just wanted a soldering iron that can be used quickly. It’s nicely packaged and very lightweight.

08-08-2025The soldering iron does its job. However, I find the 10 second heat up time false. From power on, it takes the iron 30 seconds to begin to melt solder. This is not a big deal but they should not claim such things if not true. The flux that comes with it is utterly useless. It's a hard cube of resin that is not useful in PCB repair. I don't use this kind any way so it's really a moot point. The solder that comes with it is lead free which is trash so I will give it away. The tips are a standard assortment that will do for many tasks and are of decent quality. Overall, I'm happy with it and time will tell if it lasts. The build quality is ok, but I think if it were dropped it would suffer breakage. You can swap between C and F by holding the two buttons before plugging in. The last used temp will be retained upon power up.
